Stefani Threadgill founded The Sex Therapy Institute to provide sex therapy for individuals and couples in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Her approach is holistic, systemic, and integrates sex therapy and relationship therapy.

Stefani believes that all individuals have within themselves the capacity for growth through authenticity and self-awareness of body, mind, and senses.

She utilizes a therapeutic approach that embraces:

~  the here and now
~  wholeness
~  subjective experience
~  mindfulness therapy
~  personal responsibility
~  sensuality
~  the fundamentals of sexual health
~  creativity
~  self-construction
~  context and culture

Her expertise extends to love, intimacy, sex, and relationships; sexual function and dysfunction; psychological well-being and challenges that impact sexuality, such as anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and addiction; fertility and surrogacy; and sexual abuse and trauma.

A sex therapist and Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate (LMFT-A) under supervision of Molly M. Arnold, Ph.D., LMFT-S in private practice, Stefani is deepening her expertise in human sexuality with doctoral work toward her Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology at the American Academy of Clinical Sexologists in Orlando, FL.  She is continually pursuing additional specialized training through professional organizations, conferences, and certifications.
